1969 Chevrolet Chevelle

Check it out this freshly restored and documented 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle! This is the quintessential muscle car and will make the next owner incredibly proud! This restoration started with a pretty complete car, that was given lots of love, a lengthy list of new parts, and countless hours to hit the road again as a real showstopper. This Chevelle received new floor pans, trunk pan and braces, full rear quarter panels, rear filler panel, front fenders, front inner fenders, header panel, front filler panel, radiator core support, and new SS style hood. The body was then painted in a basecoat/clearcoat urethane Cortez Silver that was buffed and polished to a show quality shine! Cortez Silver is this Chevelle's original color, which is a neat talking point at local car shows. It is paired with SS side spear stripes that were painted in a matte black, a black vinyl roof, and all new chrome pieces including front and rear bumpers. The emblems, trim, door handles, mirrors, lights, and bezels are all new as well. A new windshield was installed along with all new weatherstripping throughout the car. New 17” American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels look fantastic and are wrapped in new Kumho performance radial tires. The 4-wheel power disc brakes show through the wheel spokes and let onlookers know this is not a stock 69 Chevelle! Grab that new chrome door handle and reveal an all-new interior featuring bucket seats and a center console with the desirable horseshoe shifter. The interior has been restored with new headliner, carpet, interior panels, package shelf, armrests, seat belts, floor mats, door handles, accessories, and black vinyl seat upholstery. Additional gauges have been added under the dash and a Joe's Racing aluminum steering wheel gives this restomod a unique look. Blaupunkt speakers connect to a Bluetooth stereo to blast out your favorite tunes! The heart of any muscle car is the drivetrain, and this Chevelle does not disappoint! A crate 454 CID V8 has been built with a new Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake, new Edelbrock 750 CFM Performer carburetor, and a new billet high output HEI distributor with 8mm spark plug wires. A new Luxen racing performance aluminum radiator with custom aluminum fan shroud and dual electric fans on an adjustable thermostat keep this 454 running cool. This big block breathes through new Summit racing aluminized dual exhaust with Turbo mufflers and SS style chrome tips. A Turbo 400 automatic transmission handles the shifting and runs out back to a 12-bolt rear end that is well suited to handle the power from the 454. The transmission is dressed up with a chrome dipstick and chrome flywheel inspection cover. Correct large diameter front anti-sway bar and rear anti-sway bar paired with fully adjustable tubular control arms and adjustable coil-over shocks make this car drive better than it did in 1969! Four-wheel power disc brakes and power steering allow anyone to get behind the wheel with confidence, and even makes long trips enjoyable. A new Maxi-III A/C system from Southern Air was installed during the restoration, and it blows cold. Other new parts include: vinyl top, fuel tank, A-Team Performance 21-circuit wiring harness, battery, fuel pump, water pump, belts, hoses, chrome alternator, wiper motor, chrome brake booster, chrome master cylinder, steering gear box, front end steering components, and more!
