Description

Check out this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-door hardtop street rod! This is a real attention getting in Bronze Metallic paint paired with classic white. Chrome Cragar SS wheels with chrome backers and a hot rod stance will make this Tri-Five the envy of any car show. Under the hood sits a mildly built 350 CID V8 engine with Edelbrock carburetor, polished intake, Mallory ignition and ceramic coated headers. The engine is kept cool by a Griffin aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Everything about the engine compartment is ready to show! Polished inner fenders, polished pullies, chrome valve covers and air cleaner, chrome brake booster and master cylinder and more! How about a Tremec 5-speed manual to back up that V8 powerplant? That's right! This Bel Air leaves you in control of the shifting. With power steering and power disc brakes, it is very easy to drive while you slam through the gears. A 12-bolt rear end with chrome differential cover handles putting power to the ground and looks great doing it. Traction bars have been added to eliminate any axle hop. The inside is custom, but not over the top. With bucket seats, an Impala steering wheel, custom gauge cluster, chrome glovebox door, modern AM/FM/AUX/USB player in the dash and a custom center console it is comfortable and sure to draw stares. The upholstery is nicely done in Bronze and White to match the paint scheme. A custom shifter handle has been installed and is topped off with a white Tremec shifter ball. It gives a classic hot rod look, right up until people realize it shows a 5th gear! The trunk is clean and simple with a spare tire and carpet to match the interior. Vintage Air A/C has been added and is a great addition for summer cruising. This is a Canadian built Bel Air, which is a neat backstory for people at car shows and cruises. The 10-37D on the cowl tag lets you know it was a Bel Air from the factory. This Bel Air received a full restoration just 3,127 miles ago and needs nothing but a new driver. It comes with full documentation for the build and has a clean and clear Florida title.
